  • What type of students will you teach?
    • Most of my students will have a good command of English

  • Will you teach students how to give presentations?
    • Focus on English for presentations
    • Will look at how to give a presentation – part of the course
  • How do I improve my English or learn English in a more efficient way if I have a job and family to take care of?
    • An online course may be adapted to the times that you are free – late evenings, early mornings, etc
    • One on one is more concentrated English learning and may be more effective
    • If you aren’t practicing what you have studied you are going to lose it
  • What English courses do you teach?
    • Job interview and resume writing
    • Presentation in English
    • Business writing – emails, letters, and reports
    • Paragraph writing
    • These will be English courses customized for your learning
  • What does customized English learning mean?
    • We will work together to design the course to fit what you need
    • We will work on the areas of English that you have problems with
  • What do you mean that we don’t have to pay for the first session?

    First session is a discussion to:

    • Determine what you want
    • Decide if there is a fit between the student and teacher
    • After this the course hours will be prepaid
  • If I don't have opportunities to practice at work, how can I improve my speaking and listening skills?

    Listening skills – watch English language programs

    • Watch BBC or CNN for news
    • Movies
    • Listen to English radio stations in the car

    Speaking – you can read articles out loud

    • You can also record yourself to hear how you are doing
    • You should try to get as many opportunities to talk to native speakers as you can
    • Join clubs
  • I am not sure what one on one means?
    • There will only be the teacher and the student in the online classroom
    • So, one teacher and one student
    • If the student(s) want, we can set up courses with more than one student
      • The per hour rate will be higher per course, but
      • The per hour rate for each student will be lower.
